Créé en 2000 par John Ralston Saul, le Symposium LaFontaine-Baldwin de l’Institut pour la citoyenneté canadienne est un événement national qui réunit d’éminents penseurs du Canada et de l’étranger afin d’explorer les questions de citoyenneté, d’appartenance et de bien public. Il incite les participants à réfléchir au Canada dans son ensemble et à prendre part à des tables rondes aux côtés du conférencier d’honneur et des fondateurs et coprésidents de l’ICC John Ralston Saul et la très honorable Adrienne Clarkson. Encore une fois, l’ICC est partenaire avec le Festival de Stratford pour présenter le Symposium LaFontaine-Baldwin qui aura pour conférencier d’honneur Robert Lepage, créateur avant-gardiste et lauréat du prix Glenn Gould.
